Caring for your flowers

Aqua Hand-Tied Bouquets

These come in water and are designed to stay fresh for a short time without a vase.

Care Instructions:

1. Keep the bouquet in its aqua pack for up to 24 hours.

2. After that, carefully remove the packaging.

3. Trim the stems at an angle (about 2–3 cm) using sharp scissors or secateurs.

4. Place in a clean vase filled with fresh, lukewarm water and flower food if provided.

5. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and draughts.

6. Change the water every 2 days and retrim the stems to prolong freshness.

 Hand-Tied Bouquets (No Aqua Pack)

These are ready to be placed directly into a vase.

Care Instructions:

1. Remove all packaging but leave the tie around the stems to keep the shape.

2. Trim the stems at a 45° angle (around 2–3 cm).

3. Place into a clean vase filled with fresh water and flower food.

4. Display in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight and heat.

5. Change the water every 2–3 days and re-trim the stems each time.

Oasis Container Arrangements

Designed in floral foam to hold water and provide structure.

Care Instructions:

1. Place the arrangement on a stable, non-porous surface to catch any moisture.

2. Check the floral foam daily—if it feels dry, slowly pour a small amount of water directly onto the foam near the base of the flowers.

3. Avoid overwatering to prevent leaks.

4. Keep in a cool room, away from direct sun and heat sources.

5. Do not move the flowers frequently to maintain the structure.

 Vase Designs

Your arrangement is already beautifully styled in water.

Care Instructions:

1. Top up the water level daily with fresh, room-temperature water.

2. Every 2–3 days, gently remove the flowers, clean the vase, and refill with fresh water.

3. Trim the stems slightly at an angle before placing them back in the vase.

4. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators, or draughts for longer-lasting blooms.

Additional Flower Care Tips

Cleanliness Is Key

Always use a clean vase or container—bacteria is one of the biggest flower killers.

Remove any leaves below the water line to prevent bacterial growth.

 Stem Trimming Tips

Use sharp, clean scissors or secateurs to avoid crushing the stems.

Re-trim stems every 2–3 days to refresh their ability to drink.

 Water Know-How

Use lukewarm water—not cold (cold water shocks the stems) and not hot.

Add flower food if provided—this helps nourish the blooms and reduce bacteria.

For arrangements in floral foam, water carefully near the base to rehydrate the foam without disturbing the design.

 Placement Matters

Avoid plccing flowers near:

Direct sunlight

Heat sources (radiators, ovens, electronics)

Draughty areas or open windows

Ripening fruit (emits ethylene gas that speeds up wilting)

 General Lifespan Expectation

Most fresh flowers last between 5–10 days with proper care.

Some flowers (e.g., roses, tulips, ranunculus) may naturally fade quicker—refresh the arrangement by removing tired blooms.

 Keep Out of Reach

For safety, keep arrangements away from pets and small children, especially lilies or other potentially toxic varieties.
